Sang Yan (Bai Jinting) and Wen Yifan (Zhang Ruonan)’s chemistry is palpable and hungry with a sharp, heady sting in the newly-released C-drama ‘The First Frost.’ Both the characters are brain-meltingly hot and with such humanity that boy it gives you butterflies in your stomach. We know that Sang Yan and Wen Yifan were apart for eight years before they finally admitted their feelings for each other.

In the latest episode, Sang Yan literally goes from being unable to wish her a happy birthday to getting her a cake and picking out a perfume named after Wen Yifan. And the female lead’s drunk text leads to a domino effect that finally ends up with them sharing their first kiss in eight years. Well, we won’t give you more spoilers but let’s just say the kiss scene has taken social media by storm.

A barrage of C-drama lovers took to X to react to their romantic moment. “It's 8 years of desperation guys how could he let her go,” wrote a user. Another added, “Can u believe it - they are each other’s first and only kiss in this lifetime.” Meanwhile, one more added, “Remember, it's just not a kiss It's their pain & 8 years of longing.”
